STAT: AstraZeneca Pauses COVID-19 Vaccine Study

One of nine potential COVID-19 vaccines in a phase three trial has had a setback. AstraZeneca says it is pausing its vaccine study after the company revealed that a trial participant had a serious adverse reaction in the United Kingdom, as first reported by the health and medicine publication STAT.
