Controversial changes to the U.S. Postal Service have been put on hold after a federal judge Thursday ruled in favor of 14 states suing the Trump administration.

Judge Stanley Bastian in Washington state said President Trump and Postmaster Louis DeJoy were engaged in a "politically motivated attack on the efficiency of the Postal Service" and ordered them to halt changes DeJoy proposed in July.

Here & Now's Tonya Mosley speaks with Jocelyn Benson, Michigan's Secretary of State, about the ruling and her state's lawsuit against the administration.

This segment aired on September 18, 2020.
