President Trump was booed by protesters on the steps of the Supreme Court Thursday when he came to pay his respects to the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Trump's push to fill Ginsburg's seat has ignited a political firestorm ahead of an already contentious election. The president also made news Wednesday by refusing to commit to a peaceful transfer of power should he lose in November.
