UK Deals With Coronavirus Surge

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced new coronavirus restrictions Monday as the United Kingdom deals with a surge in infections.

Health officials reported more than 12,000 new cases on Sunday. Under the new measures, areas of England will be classed as medium, high or very high risk and placed under restrictions of varying severity.
