Congress has rejected requests from the White House to approve funding to continue COVID-19 tests and treatments for everyone. Many experts believe these funding cuts could worsen health disparities.

Side Effects Public Media's Farah Yousry reports.

The Biden administration announced that starting Monday, millions of senior citizens on Medicare can get as many as eight free, at-home COVID tests each month. People will have to show their Medicare card at participating pharmacies including CVS, Costco, Rite Aid, Walgreens and Walmart.
