Allan Coukell

Allan Coukell is a WBUR contributor.

His expertise ranges from clinical medicine and health care quality through to biotechnology, physics and engineering.

By training, Allan is a clinical pharmacist. In 1999, he established the weekly Eureka! science program on Radio New Zealand. He has contributed to NPR, BBC World Service, Radio Netherlands International, The Economist, the New York Times, New Scientist and Discover magazine.

He is the winner of numerous journalism prizes, including an honorable mention for the radio documentary "Grey Ghost" at the 2002 the Third Coast International Audio Festival.
