Steve Curwood

Living on Earth

Steve Curwood has been a journalist for more than 20 years with experience at National Public Radio, the Boston Globe, and WBUR-FM/Boston and WGBH-TV/Boston. He shared the 1975 Pulitzer Prize for Public Service as part of the Boston Globe's education team. Starting his career with National Public Radio in 1979 as host of Weekend All Things Considered, Curwood is now executive producer and host of Living on Earth. He received the New England Environmental Leadership Award in 1992 for his widespread promotion of environmental awareness.
