Liane Hansen

Weekend Edition Sunday

After working for WHYY in Philadelphia and WSKG in Binghamton, New York, Liane Hansen began with NPR as a production assistant for All Things Considered in 1979. Prior to hosting NPR's Weekend Edition Sunday, Hansen has hosted Weekend All Things Considered, Fresh Air with Terry Gross, and Performance Today, NPR's award-winning daily classical music and arts information program. She grew up in Worcester, Massachusetts and attended the University of Hartford in Connecticut.
