Bob Oakes has been Assistant News Director and Morning Edition's Anchor for WBUR since 1992. He is one of the most well known and respected news people in New England, with a twenty-year career in radio broadcasting, including ten years with Boston's all-news commercial radio station WEEI, and coverage of national issues for the CBS Radio Network.
