Robert Siegel

All Things Considered

Robert Siegel, host of NPR's award-winning All Things Considered ?, brings more than 29 years of distinguished journalistic experience to his position. Siegel has reported from Western Europe, Eastern Europe, and Israel, and now concentrates on domestic stories.

Before joining All Things Considered, Siegel was director of NPR's News and Information Department. He has won numerous awards, including two Alfred I. duPont-Columbia University awards. A graduate of Columbia University, Siegel's career in radio began at the college radio station WKCR-FM where he anchored coverage of the 1968 Columbia demonstrations.
