Alex Brodie
BBC Newshour
Alex Brodie has been host of Newshour since 1995, after fifteen years as a foreign correspondent, during which he has lived in and reported from around the world. He's watched the mullahs take Iran, the Berlin wall come down, civil war in El Salvador, seen the Russians out of Afghanistan, the Vietnamese leave Cambodia, and Yasser Arafat home to Gaza. Now he's happy to inquire into the madness of the world from the comfort of a Bush House studio. Alex lives in Cumbria in the North of England with his wife and three children.
