The Rolling Stones Play Fenway

As fans around New England get ready for this Sunday's Rolling Stones concert at Fenway Park, kicking off the band's latest U.S. tour, long-time Stones' fans might be reminiscing about one of the biggest moments in Worcester music history.

It was September 14, 1981 when Sir Morgan's Cove, a music club on Green Street in Worcester, played host to an impromptu concert by Mick and the boys.

Ron Pownall was an Associated Press photographer who was in the club that night, snagging what might be the only photos of the performance. He joins Bob Oakes this morning.

This program aired on August 19, 2005. The audio for this program is not available.
