Boston-area real estate sellers have held the upper hand for years. They've juggled multiple offers and enjoyed rising prices. But now it seems that either the boom days are over, or they're taking a break.

Across the Boston metropolitan area, houses and condos are staying on the market for longer and they're fetching less than in the past. WBUR's Fred Thys has toured some locations with local realtors and has this report.
