Analysis: Boston Election Results

Voters have elected Thomas Menino for a fourth-term, sending him on the way to becoming the longest-serving mayor in Boston. Menino defeated his challenger, outgoing city councilor Maura Hennigan, by a margin of 68 percent to 32 percent.

And there's a new face among the at-large city councilors elected yesterday. Sam Yoon is the first Asian American elected to Boston's city council. The other three at-large seats are retained by incumbents.

For some analysis of the results, Bob Oakes speaks with Larry DiCara, a former Boston city councilor and mayoral candidate.
