Bar Advocates Close to Getting Pay Raise

Boston, MA - July 22, 2005 - For the first time in some 20 years, lawmakers on Beacon Hill are nearing an agreement on pay raises for bar advocates. Bar advocates represent the state's poor, or indigent, clients. Last night, the House unanimously voted in favor of a bill dealing with raises and other reforms.
