In fact, this is the 35th anniversary of the holiday tradition. And Christmas Eve would have been the 85th birthday of its founder, Jack Langstaff. Langstaff died last week of a stroke while visiting his daughter in Switzerland. Though he left his official post at Revels about ten years ago, Langstaff continued to play a strong role in the productions right up until his death.
