Boston based Fidelity Investment is reportedly considering a major expansion in the Raleigh, North Carolina area.

The Boston Business Journal is reporting that a new Fidelity campus in the area's Research Triangle Park would employ up to 5000 workers.

This in the wake of recent news that Fidelity is moving 1500 downtown Boston based employees out of town, to Rhode Island.
