FIRST Robotics Challenge

Over the weekend more than 45 teams from the Eastern U.S. and one from Brazil gathered in Boston for the FIRST (For Inspiration & Recognition of Science & Technology) Robotics regional competition.

First Robotics, founded by New Hampshire inventor dean Kamen brings high schoolers together with professional scientists and engineers to build a working robot, designed to play a particular game.

This year's game, a cross between basketball and soccer, pits alliances of three teams against one another. We caught up with one team. Team 88 from Bridgewater-Raynham high school, known as TJ squared, as they were making some last minute adjustments to their robot.
