Aversive Therapy Ban Fails on Beacon Hill

State legislators have failed in a bid to ban aversive therapy — the electric skin shocks used at the Judge Rotenberg Educational Center in Canton.

The measure's lead sponsor says opposition from House lawmakers means the proposal is unlikely to pass in its current form.
