Big Dig Traffic Problems

Tunnel closures and detours continue to lead to tie-ups and back-ups on Boston roads.

Officials say on Wednesday night, a man in an ambulance died en route from East Boston to Boston Medical Center. They said the trip was delayed by big dig traffic but say they're not sure if the man would have survived even with no traffic.

The closures are also taking a financial toll on Boston's taxi drivers, many of whom depend on lucrative trips from Logan Airport.
