Gubernatorial Candidate Patrick Widening His Lead

A state house news service poll shows a widening gap developing among the three democratic contenders for the governor's office.

Deval Patrick is in the lead with 36 percent of those polled saying they would vote for him, Chris Gabrieli comes in at 26 percent and Tom Reilly has the support of 19 percent of those polled.

The poll also indicates that at this point any one of the candidates would beat the Republican contender, Lieutenant Governor, Kerry Healey by a wide margin.
