Write-In Race in Suffolk County

When residents in Suffolk County go to the polls on Tuesday, they'll find there's something missing from the ballot. Voters from the district that includes Roxbury, Jamaica Plain, and Chinatown have been represented since 1993 by Dianne Wilkerson. But this year, her name is not on the ballot.

Wilkerson failed to get the required 300 approved signatures in time. Still, she's running for reelection and urging voters to attach stickers with her name...on the write-in ballot.

But three challengers are waging their own sticker-campaigns and trying to block Wilkerson from retaining her longtime hold on the seat.
