Candidate Conversations: Andrea Silbert

In our series of conversations with the Democratic candidates for lieutenant governor, today we're talking with Andrea Silbert. Of the three contenders, she is the only one who has not held elected office.

Silbert is the co-founder and former CEO of the Center for Women and Enterprise, a non-profit that focuses on entrepreneurial training for women. Prior to founding the CWE, Silbert worked as a financial analyst for Morgan Stanley. She then left the firm to do grassroots economic development work in Latin America.

Silbert has degrees from Harvard Business School and the Kennedy School of Government. She is a resident of Harwich, where she lives with her husband and three children.
