Campaign Issues: Immigration

One of the issues that separates gubernatorial rivals Kerry Healey and Deval Patrick is undocumented immigration. Healey, the Republican, wants to limit the existing benefits to migrants who don't have visas or green cards to live in this country. Meanwhile, Patrick, the Democrat, wants to extend more rights to them.

The debate over in-state college tuition for children of illegal immigrants highlights differences of opinion over the issue, as WBUR's Bianca Vazquez Toness reports.

This program aired on October 10, 2006. The audio for this program is not available.
