Curtains for Boston Costume

Today is Halloween and it's the last one for Boston Costume. The downtown institution for three decades plus will close at the end of December.

Store owner David Bertolino says rent is through the roof, so he can't afford to stay under it. Boston Costume is selling its ceiling high stacks of wigs, hats, props and outfits galore.

WBUR's Business and Technology Reporter Curt Nickisch visited the store at the height of its last Halloween rush yesterday.

This program aired on October 31, 2006. The audio for this program is not available.
