Operation Homecoming: Soldiers' Stories

On Veterans' Day tomorrow, the Kennedy Library will host a special event to mark the occasion. Soldiers back from Iraq will read some of their writings about their wartime experiences. They're part of a new program created by the National Endowment For The Arts: "Operation Homecoming."

The veterans' poems, essays and stories are published in an anthology by the same name. It includes some pieces by Lieutenant Colonel Paul Danielson, an army surgeon from Holden. We'll hear from him and from the book's editor, Andrew Carroll.

This program aired on November 10, 2006. The audio for this program is not available.
