Boston - April 13, 2006 - Across the world today, many people are celebrating Passover. The Jewish festival that commemorates the Israelites' escape from slavery in Egypt began last night. It lasts a week in Israel and eight days elsewhere.
The holiday's traditional ceremony is called a Seder, where friends and family gather for a meal and readings. We visited one at Jewish Community Housing for the Elderly in Brighton. Not all the residents there are Jewish, but many join the ceremony to celebrate freedom.
