Gov. Patrick: Budget Interview
Governor Deval Patrick is presenting his first budget as a "first chapter." In a speech in Melrose last night, Patrick laid out a 26-point-seven spending plan that identifies budget cuts and new revenues, while it also dips into the state's reserve funds. It reiterates some of his campaign promises and introduces some new initiatives.
Governor Patrick will release the details of his proposals at noon today. Before then, he joins WBUR's Bob oakes to talk about the budget.
