Coping with Depression

Governor Deval Patrick and top members of his staff discussed how his administration will be affected following the disclosure that Patrick's wife is suffering from exhaustion and depression.

Patrick's office made the announcement over the weekend, and said the governor would seek to work a more flexible schedule, so he can spend time with his wife.

Lt. Gov. Tim Murray said that the governor will remain in charge, but will delegate work among his cabinet.

WBUR's Bob Oakes discusses the situation with political analyst Dan Payne.

This program aired on March 12, 2007. The audio for this program is not available.
