Health Care Law Provision Delayed

A key provision of the new Massachusetts health care law will be delayed.

The board implementing the law has voted to approve an 18 month delay before residents would be required to have mandatory minimum health insurance coverage.

Residents are still required to have some coverage by July 1, 2007.

The board also voted to require all health plans include prescription drug coverage.
