Violence in Boston: A Closer Look

As city officials struggle to find a solution to the recent surge of violence in Boston, the death toll continues to climb.

Sixteen people have been killed this year in the city - six more than by this time last year.

WBUR's Bob Oakes speaks with Dr. Deborah Prothrow-Stith, director of programs at Harvard's Youth Violence Prevention Center, about what might be behind the killings.
