Boston Church Finances Improved

The Boston Catholic Archdiocese reports its financial condition is steadily improving, thanks to the sale of church property and increasing donations.

Church officials say they are still far from balancing their budget by their 2008 goal.

The annual report, released today, shows that while donations are up, they're still nearly $2 million below the amount donated the year before the clergy sex abuse crisis.
