Reaction to NTSB Report
For reaction to the NTSB's findings, we turn to Robert Skinner, Executive Director of the Transportation Research Board. It's a government-funded organization that's part of The National Academies.
Skinner is an engineer by training and was on the panel appointed last summer by former Governor Mitt Romney to advise the so-called "Stem to Stern" safety review of the Big Dig and Massachusetts' Metropolitan Highway System.
Mr Skinner joins WBUR'S Bob Oakes to talk about the findings and recommendations released yesterday by the NTSB.
The audio for this story will be available on WBUR's web site after 10 a.m. on Wednesday.
This program aired on July 11, 2007. The audio for this program is not available.
