Gov. To Tap Botsford for SJC

Governor Deval Patrick is expected to announce his first appointment to the state's highest court Thursday.

An aide to the Governor has told WBUR that Patrick could tap Suffolk Superior Court Judge Margot Botsford to replace the late Justice Martha Sossman on the Supreme Judicial Court. The Governor has scheduled a press conference for 10 o'clock Thursday morning.
