Update on Storrow Upgrade

The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, which manages the state's parks, is providing new details about how it will fix the Storrow Drive tunnel.

The 55-year old structure carries more than 100,000 cars through Boston's Back Bay neighborhood each day.

WBUR's Shannon Mullen has been briefed on the proposal and spoken with its advocates and critics. She brings us with an update on the Storrow Drive Tunnel's upgrade.

This program aired on September 14, 2007. The audio for this program is not available.
