Governor's Gambling Plan

Potential casino bidders are already lining up and gambling opponents are girding for a fight. Governor Deval Patrick is expected to explain today that he supports casinos as part of his economic development strategy for Massachusetts. The argument is based on the jobs and the revenue that at least 3 destination style casinos would generate. But casino opponents counter that the state will lose more money on balance than it will gain. WBUR's Martha Bebinger dissects the governor's plan.
