Motley's Vision for UMass-Boston
The UMass Board of Trustees is meeting in Lowell today to vote on a $2.9 billion capital improvement plan for its five campuses.
UMass-Boston is hoping for almost $500 million for projects, ranging from the construction of new academic buildings to IT infrastructure.
The school recently named Keith Motley as its new Chancellor. Prior to assuming the position, Motley was Vice President for business, marketing, and public affairs at the UMass President's Office. Before that he was UMass-Boston's Interim Chancellor and previously Dean of Student Services at Northeastern University.
WBUR's Bob Oakes went to UMass-Boston's new 'Campus Center' and spoke with Keith Motley about his vision for the school.
