Rockies' Mountain High

When the Red Sox visit the Rockies for World Series game 3 tomorrow night, it will be unfamiliar territory for some.

The Sox haven't played Colorado on the road since 2004, and Boston's players will have to adjust to the mile-high altitude.

For more on how all this affects ballplayers, WBUR's Bob Oakes speaks with by Dr. Jack Daniels, an altitude physiologist at the Center for High Altitude Training at Northern Arizona University.

This program aired on October 26, 2007. The audio for this program is not available.
