Sparks Fly at GOP Debate

Sparks flew at the Republican debate in St. Petersburg Florida last night, and Mitt Romney took more heat than any other candidate.

The live CNN/YouTube broadcast started with a fiery exchange over immigration between the former Massachusetts Governor and New York's former Mayor Rudy Giuliani. That set the tone for the rest of the two-hour event.

WBUR's Delores Handy analyzes the debate with Todd Domke, a Republican political analyst, based in Massachusetts.

This program aired on November 29, 2007. The audio for this program is not available.
