Joe Namath Scores a Degree
More than four decades after NFL quarterback Joe Namath played his last college football game, he's going to graduate from his alma mater.
Namath left the University of Alabama in 1965, 15 credits shy of a degree. He's spent the past five years catching up, by studying through Alabama's external program, and will score his Bachelor of Arts on Saturday.
And that's caught the attention of WBUR'S sports commentator Bill Littlefield.
