SJC Requires New Biolab Review
The state's highest court has delivered a victory to opponents of a biolab that Boston University is building in the South End.
The lab will study deadly germs, like anthrax and ebola.
The justices upheld a lower court decision that the state environmental review of the lab was insufficient.
Opponents hope it will mean a delay in BU getting the permits it needs to open the lab next year.
BU says it is working on a new environmental review that will satisfy the courts.
