Year in Review: Health Care
Massachusetts' attempt to cover all uninsured residents is possibly the most significant story this year and into the next.
The deadline by which most adults must have health insurance, or pay a penalty, is next Tuesday. As many as 300-thousand residents are expected to have coverage by then, but as many more don't know about the requirement, or say they can't afford it or don't need it.
WBUR's Martha Bebinger has been following the rapid rollout of the law and joins WBUR's Bob Oakes now for a look back at 2007 and a preview of the year to come.
