This week, Sportsmen's Tennis Club in Dorchester is hosting Boston's first-ever Pro Circuit Women's professional tournament.
DORCHESTER, Mass. - July 12, 2007 - Some of the best young tennis players in the world are in Boston this week, to compete for points in the final US Open Women's Qualifier. In a first for the Hub, Sportsmen's Tennis Club in Dorchester is hosting the Pro Circuit women's tournament.

Organizers are hoping the event will showcase what their facility has to offer the sport. And, as WBUR's Shannon Mullen reports, the club is also hoping to spread the word about what it has to offer Boston.
