A federal judge has ruled the FBI withheld evidence that these four men had been framed for murder.
BOSTON, Mass. - July 27, 2007 - A federal judge has ordered the US government to pay almost 102 million dollars to the families of four men after ruling the FBI had withheld evidence they'd been framed for murder.

After being convicted in 1968, two of the men spent more than thirty years in prison and two others died behind bars.

The convictions were overturned six years ago after the discovery of secret files during a Department of Justice investigation into alleged misconduct by agents in the Boston office of the FBI. WBUR's Fred Thys reports.
