Menino Moves to Keep MinuteClinic out of Boston

Boston mayor Thomas Menino is blasting a move by CVS to open mini-medical clinics in its stores, and is calling on the city's Public Health Commission to keep the clinics out of the city.

The State approved regulations for the clinics earlier this week.

While the city can't ignore the state rules, it can try to limit how many so-called 'minute clinics' there are in Boston.

Menino says he questions how a store that sells tobacco and junk food can also promote good health.

CVS says it's willing to talk with the mayor about his concerns.
