BPS Superintendent's New Agenda

The Boston Public School System faces many challenges in the year ahead. Among them, a persistent achievement gap and a high drop-out rate.

Superintendent Carol Johnson vows to tackle those challenges and others. She recently completed her first 100 days in office, and yesterday presented her plan to the School Committee.

We spoke with Superintendent Johnson at the beginning of the school year. She joins WBUR's Bob Oakes again to talk about what's ahead for the Boston Public Schools.

This program aired on January 31, 2008. The audio for this program is not available.
