Celtic-Heavy East Squad Prevails

Ray Allen hit three consecutive 3-pointers with under three minutes to play to finish with a game-high 28 points on 10-of-14 shooting as the East All-Star squad, led by Boston's own Doc Rivers and the Celtics staff, defeated the West, 134-128, on Sunday night in New Orleans.

Paul Pierce, the only other Celtic to play, with Kevin Garnett forced to sit out due to injury, also played well, finishing with 10 points as one of six East All-Stars to reach double figures.
