Race for the Second Suffolk

In Boston, the general election for the Second Suffolk District has turned into a rematch of the Democratic primary.

The seat's incumbent, longtime State Senator Dianne Wilkerson, is now a write-in candidate, after she lost the primary by a slim margin to political newcomer Sonia Chang-Diaz.

Now there are claims on both sides that some people have made race an issue in the contest. More on that story now, from WBUR's David Boeri.
