Curbing Healthcare Costs

BOSTON - March 03, 2008 - Massachusetts Senate President Therese Murray plans to unveil a plan today to rein in healthcare spending in the state.
Her plan is expected to include a strategy for boosting the number of primary care doctors here.
It will also call for more state oversight of health insurance premiums, and on hospital expansion plans.
Murray planned to unveil her legislation at the University of Massachusetts medical school in Worcester this morning.
