BOSTON, Mass. - March 20, 2008 - The financial crisis in the US has revealed weak spots in the Massachusetts economy.

That's according to a new report by the public policy think-tank, MassINC. It tallies the impact of the state's budgetary pressures and rising health care costs, against the backdrop of a looming recession.

Cameron Huff wrote the study, "Point of Reckoning: Two Decades of State Budget Trends." He talks about it with
WBUR's Bob Oakes.
